If only the politicians.....A must read - if it offends - tough!!!

WOULDN'T IT BE GREAT TO TURN ON THE TV AND HEAR ANY U.S. PRESIDENT, DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN GIVE THE FOLLOWING SPEECH?

My Fellow Americans: As you all know, the defeat of Iraq regime has been completed. Since congress does not want to spend any more money on this war, our mission in Iraq is complete. This morning I gave the order for a complete removal of all American forces from Iraq. This action will be complete within 30 days. It is now to begin the reckoning. Before me, I have two lists. One list contains the names of countries which have stood by our side during the Iraq conflict. This list is short. The United Kingdom, Spain, Bulgaria, Australia, and Poland are some of the countries listed there. The other list contains everyone not on the first list. Most of the world's nations are on that list. My press secretary will be distributing copies of both lists later this evening.Let me start by saying that effective immediately, foreign aid to those nations on List 2 ceases immediately and indefinitely. The money saved during the first year alone will pretty much pay for the costs of the Iraqi war. The American people are no longer going to pour money into third world Hell-holes and watch those government leaders grow fat on corruption.

Need help with a famine? Wrestling with an epidemic? Call France. In the future, together with Congress, I will work to redirect this money toward solving the vexing social problems we still have at home. On that note, a word to terrorist organizations. Screw with us and we will hunt you down and eliminate you and all your friends from the face of the earth. Thirsting for a gutsy country to terrorize? Try France, or maybe China.I am ordering the immediate severing of diplomatic relations with France, Germany, and Russia. Thanks for all your help, comrades. We are retiring from NATO as well. Bon chance, mes amis.

I have instructed the Mayor of New York City to begin towing the many UN diplomatic vehicles located in Manhattan with more than two unpaid parking tickets to sites where those vehicles will be stripped, shredded and crushed. I don't care about whatever treaty pertains to this. You creeps have tens of thousands of unpaid tickets. Pay those tickets tomorrow or watch your precious Benzes, Beamers and limos be turned over to some of the finest chop shops in the world. I love New York

A special note to our neighbors.
Canada is on List 2 Since we are likely to be seeing a lot more of each other, you folks might want to try not pissing us off for a change.

Mexico is also on List 2. President Fox and his entire corrupt government really need an attitude adjustment. I will have a couple extra tank and infantry divisions sitting around. Guess where I am going to put em? Yep, border security. So start doing something with your oil. Oh, by the way, the United States is abrogating the NAFTA treaty - starting now. We are tired of the one-way highway.

Immediately, we'll be drilling for oil in Alaska - which will take care of this country's oil needs for decades to come If you're an environmentalist who opposes this decision, I refer you to List 2 above: pick a country and move there. They care.

It is time for America to focus on its own welfare and its own citizens. Some will accuse us of isolationism. I answer them by saying, "darn tootin."Nearly a century of trying to help folks live a decent life around the world has only earned us the undying enmity of just about everyone on the planet. It is time to eliminate hunger in America. It is time to eliminate homelessness in America. It is time to eliminate World Cup Soccer from America.

To the nations on List 1, a final thought. Thanks guys. We owe you and we won't forget.

To the nations on List 2, a final thought: You might want to learn to speak Arabic.

God bless America. Thank you and good night.
If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you are reading it in English, thank a soldier.

Please forward this to at least ten friends and see what happens!

Let's get this to every USA computer!)

Little E Strikes Again

Did Dale Jr. do it on purpose?? Did Carl slow down on purpose??? Boy oh boy Carl sure has gotten testy lately. Curious to see what NASCAR does.

I like Kenny Wallace's reference to Dale Sr. He never whined, he just got even somewhere down the road. Boy, sure wish the good ole days of racing were back. NASCAR is starting to get like WWF or whatever they call the stupid stuff nowadays. Prefered the days of the Four Horsemen.....where oh where is Lex Lugar....still in hiding from the Miss Elizabeth days........

Unpacking

Well the last of the 600 boxes have been unpacked. The living room, dining room, kitchen and one bedroom have been painted. One bedroom and two bathrooms are left to paint. Still trying to decide on whether to pull up the carpet and replace with carpet or laminate. No hard wood floors here - Roscoe's nails are too long...

Now to get serious about the candle biz and ceramics.

Looking to create a NC chapter in Vendor USA - will post companies I hope to get reps from to get involved.

Jeff Purvis

Purvis injured in car wreckClarksville driver airlifted to VanderbiltBy Jimmy Trodglen The Leaf-Chronicle
Retired NASCAR Busch Series driver Jeff Purvis was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Hospital Saturday night after sustaining injuries in a wreck, while en route to Talladega, Ala., to race in the StormPay.com dirt track series.Purvis, along with his wife, Margo, son Clay, crew chief Matt Angel, and another Clarksville resident were heading toward Talladega for the Saturday night race when the accident occurred.Margo, who was not injured, told The Leaf-Chronicle publisher Gene Washer, the hauler veered out of control after the blown tire, crossed the medium into traffic, hitting two cars, then hit some tree before coming to a stop.
Margo told Washer everybody exited safely, only seconds before the hauler burst into flames. The hauler, dirt track cars and equipment were a total loss.Purvis had two fractures in his neck and back, and was airlifted to Vanderbilt at 7:50 p.m. Clay had sore ribs, and Angel was wearing a neck brace, Margo said.Margo told Washer that Jeff was talking when he was loaded onto the helicopter. Margo said Clay was sleeping in a bunk when the wreck occurred. Jeff jumped up to protect Clay, and was tossed around the living quarters inside the hauler.Purvis returned to dirt track racing last season, after a nearly 20-year career in the ARCA, Busch and NASCAR Nextel Cup Series. He was top-10 in the Crate Series points standings

Get Well Jeff!!!! We miss those blue eyes!!

The Move Part 2

Well it is finally over. House in Ohio finally transferred last Monday after 10 inches of rain falling on the previous Thursday causing the County to send all it's employees home. Apparently Lake County, OH was in a state of emergency. Looks like we left just in time. Nothing happened to the house. But the grass sure is tall and in need of cutting!!

As for here in NC - furniture arrived three days after we did. Some 400 boxes have been unpacked along with the kitchen, living room and dining room have been painted. Lowe's of Hickory has become our second home with almost daily visits to buy something or another.

I have all of my ceramic molds on shelves. All that is left to unpack are the boxes with my bisque, finished pieces and misc ceramic supplies.

As for my candles - I have about 30 calls on leads to make on Monday - since I mailed out the sample packs last week. I am working with one lady on fundraising for PTA in SC. I
have two other ladies intested in the business and am waiting for their sample packets to get to them. I have my one neighbor who is a school bus driver as well as being into boy scouts interested in both the candles and the ceramics. Hopefully this week, I can catch up and get back on schedule.
